Eliana Mabe

Bio

Eliana Mabe, originally from Colorado Springs, CO has a BA in Media Studies major with a concentration in Film Studies and a double minor in Theatre and Religious Studies from Rhodes College. Her previous playwright credits include Solitude Together, Bright Spots, and The Eternal Sleepover all commissioned by the Rhodes Theatre Guild, Beautiful Little Fool commissioned by Hot Tea Cold Beans Theatre Company, and The Moyo Dilemma commissioned by the Horizon Theatre. She was a winner of the New South Young Playwrights Festival in 2020 and trained with the inaugural Williamstown Theatre Festival’s Professional Training Program during the summer of 2022. Currently based in Memphis, TN, she was the president of RTG, co-president of the Rhodes Latinx Student Association, a teaching artist and social media manager for SunFish Children’s Theatre, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. She loves to explore stories about Latina empowerment, childhood imagination, and scientific discoveries.
